Recent Events:

The RiskSpectrum Team attended the joint European Safety and Reliability (ESREL) and Society for Risk Analysis Europe (SRA-E) conference in Stavanger, Norway. We presented possibilities of the multi-unit approach in various domains and the power of the modelling language Figaro, which is the core part of the Model-Based Safety Assessment tool RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder. Most importantly, we were a part of the academic and industrial research discussions.

We held our annual user group meeting in Stockholm in May. There was a great dialogue about the products we are working on and future developments.

We would like to extend our huge thanks to Erik at the Borssele NPP in Vlissingen, Netherlands, for hosting our RiskWatcher conference. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the plant and taste the delicacies of south Netherlands. At the conference, users shared their experiences and best practices of using RiskWatcher. It was a great learning experience.

Recent Releases:

RiskWatcher Web 1.9.2 includes improved DiD visuals, some bug fixes and updates of some third-party components.

RiskSpectrum PSA 1.6.1 has improved calculation speed (via RSAT 4.0.2) for MCS BDD of very large BDD structures for importance and uncertainty calculations. PSA 1.6.1 fixes the issue with more than 500 BE importance results. It also contains a fix to the rare issue with Add subsequent Event Tree, plus some other bug fixes.

RiskSpectrum PSA 1.6.2 eliminates a bug.

RSAT 4.0.2 offers an improvement to MCS BDD uncertainty speed.

Multi-unit PSA 1.0.2 works with the latest versions of RiskSpectrum PSA.

RiskSpectrum PSA Premium

From 1 January 2025, RiskSpectrum PSA is replaced by RiskSpectrum PSA Premium. This new version includes three tools:

• RiskSpectrum PSA Macro
• RiskSpectrum Multi-Unit PSA
• RiskSpectrum VersionControl (release planned in Q3)

This package includes the most useful RiskSpectrum PSA add-on tools and is something the user group has requested. By packaging them we have made them more accessible to a wider audience.

Upcoming releases:

Version Control will be released in Q3. We are looking for Beta testers. If you are interested, get involved.

RWWeb 1.9.2 will be released in Q3.

 RW Connector 1.2.3 is designed to work with RWWeb 1.9.1 and higher.

HRA 2.0 (including the dependency module) will be released in Q4/Q1 2026.

RiskSpectrum PSA 1.7 is on track to be completed in the first half of 2026.

RiskSpectrum offers services related to all our software. If you need to make changes to your PSA, RiskWatcher or ModelBuilder models, speak to us first. We have dealt with your situation in the past and can offer expert advice on the best way to approach it.

Refresher courses:

Our refresher courses have kicked off! We held the first 3 in March and April. They were well-attending and we recieved good feedback on the shorter format and focus on specific topics.
