Recent Events:

The RiskSpectrum Team attended the RAMS Europe conference in Amsterdam, where we presented our ongoing work on linking the model-based engineering tool Capella to ModelBuilder. The feedback was very positive, and we look forward to presenting our finished product at a future conference. It was also a good place to meet RiskSpectrum clients as well as learn about new RAMS techniques and methods that can be applied to our software.

Recent Releases:

RiskWatcher Web 1.9.4 includes some significant improvements like; (1) an update of RiskSpectrum PSA features conditional quantification, MCS as input etc. (2) ability to specify random failures in operations (3) improvements to the dashboard (4) Event log review list – for approving tasks that are identified during auto import to need approval and some further updates and bug fixes.

Version Control is a tool to track and save all changes to the PSA model, enabling users to better manage their models and understand what changes each version contains.

SDP 1.3 with improved functionality for the separate management of seismic.

PSAIS (PSA information system) is a new tool for getting an easy overview of PSA results from one or several PSA models.

Upcoming releases:

RiskSpectrum PSA 1.7 is on track to be completed in the first half of 2026.

HRA 2.0 (including the dependency module) is scheduled for release in 2026.

RWC 1.2.4 adding features to work with RWW 1.9.4

RW web 1.10 enables access to MMC from an external computer, improving the export/import functionality, plus further improvements in the interface

News

User Group Meetings:

On March 26, 2026, we will hold our first online user group meeting of the year. We will discuss our upcoming release of RiskSpectrum PSA 1.7, RiskWatcher 1.9.4 and RiskWatcher 1.10. We will also discuss the latest RiskSpectrum news and have time for Q&A at the end. Register HERE for this free event.

Our 2026 User Group Meeting will take place from June 4-5, 2026, in Stockholm. It will be the same venue as last year, the World Trade Centre. It is across the street from the main train station in central Stockholm. To make the most of your trip to Sweden, we are also offering training from June 1-3 (and May 29 online). Course 1: RiskSpectrum PSA and Course 3: Advanced RiskSpectrum PSA will occur during this time. Please register HERE.

We will hold our RiskWatcher conference from September 16 to 17, 2026. The Paks II NPP in Hungary has kindly agreed to host the conference and offer a tour of the plant on September 15 or 18; the tour dates are to be confirmed. This is a great opportunity to learn how RiskWatcher users from around the world are using the software, and for potential users, to learn why adding RiskWatcher to your toolkit will enhance your plant's RAMS. Our refresher courses have kicked off! They have been well-attended, and we received good feedback on the shorter format and focus on specific topics.

ModelBuilder training:

Starting in 2026, we will hold regular training for ModelBuilder. This is a great place for new users to learn how to use the tool. It is also a great place for non-users to learn how the tool works in-depth and how adopting MBSA can be a transformative way to further design engineering.
