Many RiskSpectrum licensees today see
improving their PSA documentation as their biggest challenge. Relcon
Scandpower have since 2005 working on the development of RiskSpectrum
PSADoc - A tool that we believe will make this challenge less
frightening.
The first release of RiskSpectrum PSADoc is planned for 2007.
RiskSpectrum PSADoc enhances and simplifies
management of PSA and FTA documentation and reporting by establishing direct
links between existing documentation and the database in
RiskSpectrum PSA Professional.
It is a tool designed for managing PSA and FTA documentation already in place,
but can also replace an existing documentation system.
RiskSpectrum PSADoc manages all documentation in a structured,
searchable, traceable form in a database and can handle all kinds of
document file types (Word, Excel, RiskSpectrum Memos, etc).
Once you have set up links between your PSA or FTA model
database and the PSADoc document database (which is easy), it is a
simple task to update documents when model changes are made using the
"changed Links" function helping you find all documents related to a
certain item in the model.
Systematic use of References, Keywords and links between documents
improve traceability.
Use of Data Tables, MCS Tables, Importance Tables,
Data Diagrams, Importance Diagrams and Uncertainty Diagrams makes it
possible to quickly produce reports including professionally formatted
data directly from the latest version of your PSA or FTA model database. This
includes many special types of tables and diagrams which can only be
produced otherwise with many hours of manual work.
