R-Dat

Relcon Scandpower and Prediction Technologies Inc. (PTI) have entered an agreement for the development of a seamless interface between RiskSpectrum software and PTI's software R-Dat. It is also agreed that Relcon Scandpower will represent PTI in the marketing of R-Dat.

R-Dat provides virtually all the Bayesian analysis capabilities that one typically needs in support of risk and reliability assessment of complex systems. Among its features is the capability for developing the so-called generic distributions for various risk and reliability parameters based on different types and sources of information (e.g., operating data, expert opinion).

Starting with RiskSpectrum .NET-version (due for release 2006) it will be possible to open a parameter in R-Dat, analyse and update data using all features available in R-Dat, and then save the changes to the RiskSpectrum database.

R-Dat can also be purchased for data analysis as a stand-alone tool.
